In 2004 Pierre Faure obtained a scholarship from the Villa Kujoyama, Kyoto and lived for 5 months in Japan. His work from this period especially deals with urban cicumstances, urban reality and the human embedded in this atmosphere. A close relation to film arises by repeating the motives and recomposing them with recurring sequences from his work.
